To promote international cooperation in green development, China International Import Expo Bureau and National Energy Conservation Center will set up a special booth for energy conservation and environmental protection and organize related activities in the exhibition area of technology and equipment during the 3rd China International Import Expo.

The 3rd China International Import Expo (CIIE) will be held on 5-10 November in National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). As a new highlight of this year’s CIIE, the special booth for energy conservation and environmental protection will exhibit the latest technology and equipment for energy conservation and environmental protection through organizing experience-based activities and theme events. About 10,000 professionals are expected to visit the booth and engage in road shows and business talks, which will effectively promote the signing of deals.

China International Import Expo was announced by Chinese President Xi Jinping on the 1st Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation in May, 2017. It is a major move for China to support free trade and economic globalization and open its market to the world. It is also an important platform for promoting joint efforts in promoting the Belt and Road Initiative. The set-up of the special booth for energy conservation and environmental protection is conducive to introducing in advanced technologies to address the domestic challenges in energy and resource conservation and environmental protection, which is of great significance to promoting ecological civilization construction in China.
