The TP on Global Climate Change Governance and Green Transformation aims to promote the incorporation of climate change considerations and green transition concepts into the development of BRI. Taking into considerations of the goals of the Paris Agreement and its implementation details, the TP will focus on the update of nationally determined contributions (NDCs) and innovation in climate financing mechanisms based on, assess the difficulties and challenges faced by BRI participating countries in NDCs renewal and realization, and help them update NDCs. The TP will also use opportunities provided by the important international conferences to expand partnership and strengthen communication.
